We both arose at O dark hundred to head to the airport. Josh (Terry's son) crawled out of bed long enough to drive us down and drop us off. We decided to do carry-ons only to simplify things.
Uneventful start to the day although tiring. We left a little late but got to JFK on time. Unfortunately no sleeping on this first flight.Louise watched about 15 Food Channel programs and we both tried our hand at the online trivia challenge to pass time. Terry won one round but it went south after that. They ran out of science questions.....
Louise's efforts to foil TSA screening by putting her hair products into prescription bottles was for naught. She ended up with a goopy ziplock bag. She did however determine which restroom had the best hairdrying/jewelry cleaning amenities. We have about a 5 hour layover here at JFK and plan to sleep on the flight to Tel Aviv and are not above chemical assistance to meet that goal after a long day. We should arrive tomorrow afternoon in Tel Aviv and will check in tomorrow evening. Keep us in your thoughts for continued safe travels. T and L
