Headed for Jordan
After rising at about 4 this a.m., we got ready to head out. Dr Linver met us out front of our hotel with a taxi to go to the airport. No traffic at 5 a.m. so we arrived without incident. Although we only have carry-on luggage, it had to go through the xray machine twice. I was the selected one to have to open my bags and get them swabbed down for some kind of residue! They even wanded my books. Better safe than sorry I say. We are now sitting in the airport waiting to board our flight to jordan. It is only a 25 minute flight but we wre told it could take up to 4 hours by car. We are excited to see what the day holds for us. Flexibility will be the key..... The King Hussein Cancer Hospital is quite modern and state of the art and we're told that it has the only full field digital unit in the country. Everything else is films/screen as to be expected. We'll post more tomorrow evening after we return. T
